Well, it’s that time of year again. Garden is a harvest mode. How to keep everything can be something of a trial. To have a big freezer helps. We have been able to put all our berries in jelly making freezer until further notice. We get them later.

Waiting for pickles has begun to decline slightly, so that all who come to get a soft fridge would be bread and butter pickles. They will be soft anyway. When we get a better harvest We dill pickles. It seems that we are not enough to plant peas this year, so we pick and eat them right out of the garden. You can not win the taste of fresh peas.
